By default, the attribute column values are not repeated for every row of the grid (snapshot below)
But sometimes you want to see the grid with all the attribute values, like the one below.
It is particularly helpful if you have lot of metric rows for a single attribute. You might have to scroll a page or more to find the related attribute of any metric value. In these cases, it is much useful to have the attribute value repeated for each row. You can do this by changing this particular setting in Desktop Report editor.
Grid -> Merge Row Header Cells
This name seems to be so unlikely for the task it does, that it is super easy to miss it! I did many a times.
